A superb cabinet-sized specimen that features aesthetic fields of beautifully-formed, flashy Azurite crystals with velvety green areas of primary Malachite, all spread across a contrasting copper-brown to rust-red matrix. The Azurite crystals in this specimen are unusually large for the locality (reaching up to an impressive 2.0 centimeters across, a relatively large size) and have a sharply modified crystal habit. Each crystal has a deep blue color that is intensified by the Azurite's subtle subsurficial transparency; some of the Azurite crystals on the front side of the specimen have partial Malachite pseudomorphosis, of a green accent. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
