Californian Stibnite goes virtually unrepresented on the market these days, being that this is a very obscure locality for the species. For those interested in collecting very unusual mineral occurrences, this is a singular specimen, especially considering the excellent aesthetics and color combination. The orange Siderite drapes over a botryoidal matrix, and atop the Siderite are incredible acicular sprays of Stibnite, most of which are very finely formed and needle-like. It would not be a reach to say this is one of the most, if not the most, visually appealing sample of Stibnite from the McLaughlin Mine. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
