"Scepter" Quartz (Or "Sceptre" for our old-world friends) refers to an unusual habit where the first generation of a Quartz crystal acts as a stem for a secondary, wider generation that creates a large abrupt cap over the first, hence the name. The Quartz in this specimen are a great example of such, a nice addition to the aerial sprays. Under this is a dynamic cluster of brassy and bright Pyrite crystals, all of which forming sharp and smooth-faced cubes. It's a beautiful arrangement and style that is reminiscent of Spruce Ridge material, although this particular specimen actually happens to be from the illustrious Shangbao Mine. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
