This is an excellent large cabinet Azurite with a commanding presence, perfectly circular yet entirety composed by smaller crystals that come together in a harmonious rosette, acicular in growth. The piece is composed of a mosaic of countless, and often twinned Azurite crystals back to front that sparkle from light coming in from any direction. Incredibly, especially when considering the massive size of the specimen, this is a complete floater as there is no point of attachment. This is one of the finest rosette examples in this size range for luster and color, crystal size, and overall aesthetics. This is an exceptional example of this African locality for the quality of color and luster presented here. This specimen comes with a custom acrylic base.
