All but covering the front side of this cabinet-sized specimen are tightly packed clusters of beautifully rounded, slightly translucent Pyromorphite aggregates that have an attractive yellow to orange color. Like many other Pyromorphites from the Bunker Hill Mine, these specimens attribute their vibrant color to a rich arsenic content that is only really seen from this famous locality. The Pyromorphite has a dramatic wet luster that not only pairs nicely with the crystals' botryoidal shape, it creates a stronger and more aesthetic contrast between the Pyromorphite and the rocky gossan matrix. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
