All over the top of this specimen are prolific clusters of gorgeous Danburite crystals (up to 6.7 centimeters) from Charcas, Mexico-considered to be one of the premier Danburite localities-that are pleasantly accompanied by isolated groups of Amethyst. Each of the Danburite crystals are transparent, white to colorless, and have a strong glassy luster that is accented by the crystals' nicely striated faces. The Amethyst gives a mild contrast to the Danburite, adding dots of gentle, transparent lilac to the specimen's bright display. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
