Cuprian Adamite
This is a truly remarkable and picturesque specimen of Cuprian Adamite, showing an entire front side that is just about covered in nicely-formed, translucent, botryoidal aggregates (up to 0.5 centimeters across), all wrapping across a light-brown limonitic matrix. Each of the crystals are richly saturated with a deep blue-green color-a signature to most copper-bearing varieties of minerals-and complemented with a greasy, wet luster. While offering a little more in the way of matrix, the back side of the specimen also presents a splendid coating of glistening Cuprian Adamite crystals. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
