Smoky Quartz and Schorl
This combination specimen features a three-dimensional, cabinet-sized cluster of sharp Smoky Quartz points that are topped by several well-formed, blocky crystals of Schorl. Each of the Smoky Quartz crystals are transparent and lustrous with striated faces and a rich dusky-brown interior that grades to darker grey zoning at the terminations. Most, if not all of the Schorl is doubly-terminated, each one standing out with a strong glassy luster and the mineral's characteristic jet-black color. This is a very distinctive style for the Erongo Mountains! This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
