The Bulgarian Galena specimens are truly something special, consistently presenting us with superb crystals that will at times have beautifully hoppered features. This piece from the Septemvri Mine (formerly the "9th of September Mine") is a wonderful combination of sharp, lustrous, deeply-hoppered Galena crystals (up to 2.7 centimeters) with colorful associations of golden-yellow Chalcopyrite, white Quartz points, and small clusters of Sphalerite, all of which are spread across some host-rock matrix. Some of the Chalcopyrite crystals are accented with small areas of iridescence. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
