Covering the front side of this specimen are several beautifully-formed, electric blue Azurite crystals (up to 3.2 centimeters) that are accompanied by vibrant associations of rich green, velvety Malachite and minor botryoidal Goethite. Each of the crystals have a dramatic luster and slight gemminess that adds to the Azurite's allure. Most of the Malachite are primary, botryoidal growths that are dispersed across the edges and center of the specimen; there are some partial pseudomorphs across a handful of Azurite crystals, some of which are best seen with a closer view. The well-balanced presentation of superb crystals and striking colors makes this one of the best Azurite specimens in Dan Kennedy's collection! This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
