Scattered along the front and top sides of this cabinet specimen are perfectly euhedral crystals of Fluorapatite (up to 1.7 x 1.5 centimeters) that are nestled amongst a backdrop of glittery, white clusters of Albite, along with a few booklets of Muscovite on the right side of the specimen. The Fluorapatite has a rich olive green color that stands out nicely against the Albite matrix. Backlighting the crystals brings out the Fluorapatite's rich green hues and illuminates the nice frame of transparency along the crystals' prismatic faces. Each crystal is complete all around with a strong glassy luster and sharply beveled edges. Under UV light, the Fluorapatite strongly fluoresces bright yellow and the Albite glows a nice reddish hue. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
