This superb specimen presents a dramatic and commanding sphere of Chalcopyrite atop a highly contrasting matrix of brilliant white Quartz points. The Chalcopyrite itself is a whopping 9.4 centimeters in diameter, in pristine condition, and shows spectacular crystallization from every angle; not-so-subtle wisps of iridescence weave seamlessly across the Chalcopyrite's surface, slightly escalating the specimen's already stark color contrast. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
