As miniature Herodsfoot mine specimens go, this is a cracker. A cluster of gorgeous velvet-like Chalcopyrite-coated tetrahedral Tetrahedrite crystals (to 1.1 cm on edge) with rounded edges sit together on a small domed piece of Quartz veinstone with small well-formed cubo-octahedral Galena crystals in association. The surface reflections and iridescence on the Chalcopyrite is magnificent. Ex Malcolm Southwood collection, no. MS 2014.111, and ex Wendland collection.
