A rare pristine pseudomorph of Siderite after Serandite from the famous Poudrette Quarry in Quebec. A few terminated, parallel growth, totally euhedral Serandite crystals to 4.4 cm have been completely pseudomorphed by Siderite. The replacement has been complete and perfect as it retains the original form of the Serandite crystals perfectly! A desirable Mont Saint-Hilaire pseudomorph! This probably came out in the mid to late 1980s. Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Siderite with Chalcopyrite (SYP25-11a) and Serandite (SYP25-11c).
