Anatase is not common from the Dodo Mine and this is a nicely composed thumbnail from the locality. This lustrous, textbook, distinctly tetragonal, doubly terminated Anatase crystal displays great luster, perfect form and has slight horizontal striations on the pyramid faces perpendicular to the length of the crystal. It is sublimely perched atop a 2.5 cm, glassy to slightly etched Smoky Quartz crystal. Part of an educational set, with these additional items: Rutile on Quartz (SYP25-08a) and Rutile ps. Anatase (SYP25-08b).
