There are many great Fluorite occurrences in China, some which have produced tons of specimens, but Dingjiashan Pb-Zn-(Ag) deposit in Youxi County, Fujian is not one of them. In fact, this deposit is rarely seen in collections because of its very limited nature. What appears to have been a one-time find, in 2015, produced a small number of attractive lime-green stepped cubo-octahedral crystals and nothing else of note. This very large display specimen (14.6 cm tall) shows how big the crystals got: this one featuring a crystal to over 5 cm across with other smaller crystals on matrix. These crystals are translucent and really glow when directional lighting is used on them, but it is also their wonderful crystallographic form that catches the eye - fascinating and complex. This specimen comes with a custom-made acryllic base.
