This beautiful miniature of Fluorite on Quartz comes from the famous Hunza Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan and comes from Arvid Pasto's amazing Fluorite collection. It features a 7 cm long creamy-white prismatic, pyramidally-terminated Quartz crystal upon which a 1.3 cm wide colour-zoned purple and white cube of Fluorite sits just below the termination. The Fluorite crystal is very glassy and deep purple internally. The white zonation occurs on two faces and represents an extremely thin film less than a millimetre in thickness. Several, much smaller Fluorite cubes are attached to the Quartz crystal lower down. Branching off from the main Quartz crystal are three smaller Quartz crystals displaying an unusual flat, tabular habit. The whole specimen presents very well and is in excellent condition.
