Surely the finest Dioptase specimens in the world have been found at Tsumeb, making it one of the signature species for this legendary mine. This thumbnail, composed entirely of Dioptase, is a great example with its high luster, deep-green color, and hints of gemminess that create the beautiful green flashes that are so noteworthy.
