Pectolites are probably the most significant mineral specimens to come out of the Millington Quarry recently, and in fact are some of the best in the world for the species. They are distinctive for their gorgeous peachy-mauve color, and perfectly rounded forms. This is a shallow vug of these mammillary forms, and you can see around the periphery how they are formed from thousands of densely-packed radial acicular crystals.
