Fluorite from Dal'negorsk, Russia. 20th Century.

Fluorite forms in dozens of shapes and a virtual rainbow of colors. Dal’negorsk is famous for both green and colorless varieties often with sharp faces, high luster, and incredible transparency. This outstanding crystal is the pinnacle of quality for the mine, its seafoam-green color and remarkable clarity liken it to an aquarium. The teal “phantom” zone even further punctuates its seemingly unnatural geometry.
