Beryl var. Aquamarine

Ratin Gabbas, Plateau, Nigeria is perhaps not the most well-known occurrence for Beryl var. Aquamarine, but beautiful small Aquamarine crystals were produced there during the late 20th century, but are rarely seen for sale. This cute Beryl var. Aquamarine crystal, mounted on a small acrylic base for display and handling, is both gemmy and colourful, with a super, fine, pale blue appearance. Crystallographically, it displays a complex, multifaced termination, much rarer than a standard flat pinacoid face.
