Bright pink to Orange, with a dark pink pinacoidal termination. Double terminated crystal with a flat pink, matte luster termination at the bottom. Thick crystal, with deep color that becomes increasingly intense towards the terminations. The Malkhan Pegmatite has been producing high quality tourmalines for a long time, but not in huge abundance, in comparison to Brazilian or Afghani localities.
