Tucson, Arizona, USAThis is an extremely fine large miniature Tsumeb Cerussite of a quite different character to many that we see. The reason for this is that it is a 'simple' twin as opposed to a reticulated, or snowflake twin. With a fine pale sherry colour, lovely silky lustre and glowing internal translucency it stands out really well. With support, it makes for a superb dramatic display. The dividing line down the centre of the twin is sharp and clear, and streaks of internal colour zoning along either branch adds to its character. The external ends of both crystals are somewhat ragged, but this does not detract from the overall aesthetics of this wonderful piece.
