Captivating and substantial single Hematite blade with a well formed sharply terminated shape that is a weighty 33 grams and is 6 mm thick. The spectacular metallic luster of the Hematite further highlights the finely detailed growth patterns or striations that are seen on the crystal faces. These outer patterns can become very complex as growth rates fluctuate and new layers form as seen on the right half of the crystal. This piece is in great condition with complete beveled terminations on all edges except for the contacted basal edge. This Hematite is an outstanding statement piece given its exceptional quality, mirror luster and the sizable nature of this uncommon Madagascar material. From 2023 finds.
