Sculptural well terminated metallic silver Hematite crystal with multiple growth phases leading to several distinct bevelled edge terminations. The thumbnail has an appealing orientation with its triangular shape rising 2.5 cm above the base that resembles three mountain peaks at the apex. The piece is highlighted by its razor sharp form and outstanding metallic luster that is truly mirror bright! The edge terminations are complete on three sides with a basal edge contact from attachment. There is some minor nicking and wear present. As with most of these Hematites, the piece has well defined striations that easily show different growth phases on each face. The faces also have minor sub-parallel growth showing initial "rosette" development that is an attractive feature and interesting bonus addition. From 2023 finds.
