Description
A superb reticulated copper specimen, comprised entirely of elongated spinel-twinned crystals. It is much like a bird feather, with patterning upon patterning, mesmerizing in detail! This literally perfect, pristine specimen is one of the most exquisite such examples I have seen; and it dates to 1990s material that was brought out by the legendary dealer Brad Van Scriver at the time. Figure 83 on page #93 of Addicted to Beauty: The Legacy of Jack Halpern (Mineralogical Record, March 2025). Laszlo Kupi photo.
