Pair of Malachite Slices (Polished)

Jack Halpern loved his slices and slabs, as much as his crystalline specimens. To Jack, the beauty of nature could be found inside or out of the natural rock - slabs and cut slices were a fixture in each of his showcases for 60 years of collection. Many mineral collectors today do not combine these different "fields" in a case, but to Jack it was one and the same. And, the impression of color created when you walked into his mineral room, showed he was right. This is an old set of slices, a matched pair, superbly polished and remarkably complete.
