This remarkable teal-blue fluorite was lurking on Jack's shelves for decades without me realizing how beautiful it was, because of a layer of dust. He had some specimens way up on shelves near the ceiling, to squeeze more into the room. Cleaned, we realized that the true color of this fluorite is a vibrant teal-blue, which is seldom seen. We have no label nor mine name, as this was an early Halpern acquisition apparently; but we presume this is from the Minerva Mine's earliest days, given the hint of a yellow "mushroom style" fluorite under the blue cube. The cube is PERFECT, as well - complete all around and almost precisely 4 x 4 x 4 cm in size. It simply glows when backlit! Small tiny pointed calcite crystals decorate crevasses on the vuggy matrix for a bit of extra contrast and sparkle.
