Tsumeb is widely regarded as the finest locality for dioptase in the world and is rivaled by few others. This particular specimen is no exception. It has top notch luster, color, and nice color contrast with the underlying white calcite. A truly classic example. This specimen has great provenance with an University of Arizona label that states the specimen was obtained from Curtis P. Schuh.
