This striking specimen features a vug lined with iridescent golden fluorite with a second generation of larger, deep purple fluorite cubes on top. The golden fluorite crystals are quite small but form sharp, cubic crystals under magnification and gain their unique iridescence from a thin hydrocarbon coating. The later generation purple fluorite cubes are sharply defined, transparent, and in great condition.
