This is a very beautiful example of sharp lustrous wolframite with translucent blue fluorite from the famous Yaogangxian tin-tungsten mine in China. This mine has produced a variety of gorgeous specimens over the past several years and is one of the most famous contemporary localities for wolframite. If you don’t already know wolframite is the intermediate between ferberite and hubnerite and is an important tungsten ore.
