Tarnowitzite w/ Malachite
Unknown Owner
Tarnowitzite is the lead bearing variety of aragonite. Perhaps the most notable locality for the species is the Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. This specimen is nice because of the color contrast between the waxy white stalks of tarnowizite and the dark green of the mossy malachite. This specimen is in remarkable condition for its size.
