This is a fantastic example of hessonite garnet from the world famous Jeffrey Mine in Quebec Canada. This particular showcases the lighter pink variety of garnets that can be found at this mine. The color the garnet is further enhanced by the contrasting green diopside crystals. The specimen features garnets and diopside crystals on both the front and back of the specimen. This specimen comes from the noted American collector Charlie Key. Truly a fantastic specimen to add to almost any collection.
