A spray of orange red translucent quartz crystals measuring to 2.0 cm in size coming off what was once a crystal of elbaite, this now replaced by hisingerite and partially coated with microscopic pyrite. Interesting and attractive specimen. There is slight chipping to the quartz crystals, but a lot of what you see is not damage but completely re-healed.
