Sparkling platy crystals of calcite and groupings to 4.2 cm in size across the top of this crystallized amethyst matrix. Classic old material for this famous mining district. The specimen is crystallized completely all around and in terrific condition. The calcite crystals are brightly fluorescent under both longwave and shortwave ultraviolet light.
