Dalnegorsk produced some pristine clear fluorite cubes that I admire but where's the fun in that? When I saw this insanely shaped thing during the Denver 2024 show, I knew I had to have it and learn more about fluorite. It comes with an "export" box 80s USSR that is a collectible of its own and I squeezed out some rusty Russian to interrogate the Russian academics at the show about whatever was going on here. Need to make better photos and videos but not an easy job with colourless specimens!
