Ripidolite is a variety of clinochlore, a chlorite group species. This fine Austrian specimen from the Rolf Wein Collections features a well-placed vug with lustrous, greenish-gray, tabular ripidolite blades to 1.0 cm. The piece is from the well-known Pfitsch Pass, Ziller Valley of Tyrol and Wein acquired the piece in 1968.
