Dioptase on Mottramite
Unknown Owner
This is a really unusual combo for Tsumeb mine and I think it works really well. A classic dense colloform aggregate of deep camouflage green Mottramite is studded with small (2 mm) glossy emerald green Dioptase crystals. Internally, on the reverse, the Mottramite displays colour zoned banding. A really fun miniature specimen from Tsumeb.
