Description
This lovely miniature Wulfenite is a fine, matrix-less aggregate of well-defined butterscotch coloured tabular crystals, individually reaching 1.5 cm on edge and exhibiting an extremely fine greasy, 'wet' lustre, but with extremely bright reflectivity. It is from La Morita mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, a relatively new producer of Wulfenite, where fine specimens were discovered in about 2018. Compared to many that have reached the market this is a good size, with great-sized crystals. There is just the very slightest chipping to some of the edges, but overall is in very good condition. A great modern Wulfenite from Mexico.
