This is an excellent specimen form a classic European locale. Several well terminated crystals up to 1.3 cm in size are sitting on the upperedge of a white calcite matrix. The crystals have been well preserved from natural daylight and still glow fiercely red when backlight!Found in 1864 (according to an old label coming with the specimen), the piece has been in several well-known collections thereafter! Ex collections Wüster, F.H. Pough, L.H. Conklin, M. Baumstark collections.
