Glassy mostly gemmy scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 10.0 cm in size across the top of this crystallized quartz matrix. The calcite crystals exhibit neat inclusions. This is in terrific condition. The calcite crystals are brightly fluorescent red under longwave ultraviolet light.
