This is a very fine specimen. Two dominant saturated red rhodochrosite crystals sit perched on a snow bed of white sparkling quartz. Rhodochrosite rhombohedrons from the San Juans rarely get to such size and almost never achieve a nice saturated red color. This specimen is the best American Tunnel rhodochrosites I have had the pleasure of selling and would fit in any level of Colorado collection. Comes with a custom acrylic base. Ex.
