One of the old gem species classics from early finds in Brazil, these came out by the 1960s and have not been seen since. We only stumble upon them in old collections. This is a very clean and sparkling, colorless crystal with unusually bright lack of color - some simply don't have the clarity or quality in that regard. Most of them look dull, but some few, such as this, have a brightness to them from the light dispersion inside as well as the luster outside. Old piece, and not to the lab, so it has a small amount of edge wear when you look closely and feel the top edge, that we consider acceptable at the price. 32.06 carats. From Al Kidwell of Houston - the collection was in storage for decades, quite literally.
