This very rich large miniature specimen from Seneca mine near Allouez Township in Keweenaw County, Michigan provides a wonderful contrast between very bright metallic rose-orange Native Copper and pale silvery Native Silver within white Milky Quartz containing inclusions of Epidote. Although intergrown, the contact between Native Copper and Native Silver is extremely sharp and well-defined. Both metals present a classic sharp hackly form protruding out from the Quartz matrix in all directions. A wonderful Keweenaw classic. Ex David Hardman collection.
