A great specimen of a most unusual mineral: an ammonium-group-containing species. Natural crystals of this compound are quite rare in nature and the best come from this remote village in Tajikistan. The crystals have grown in a feather-like form with spurs of growth 90 degrees apart. Bill acquired this specimen from the Fersman Museum of Moscow (and comes with label from them labeled: MINERALOGICAL MUSEUM OF THE USSR). Ex. Bill Pinch Collection.
