A fine loose transparent pinkish red crystal of rhodochrosite. In great condition. Interesting occurrence for the species, these are not usually found in pegmatite environments.

If you want an rhodochrosite in your collection similar to one from the world-famous Sweet Home Mine, but are not looking to invest much, this is a good specimen from a locality unusual for rhodochrosite.
