The ArkenstoneFeatured
This riveting, glassy, deeply pink-colored gem crystal of morganite is enhanced by contrasting inclusions of needle-like schorl shooting through it. This is truly classic material from a find of the 1960s, from the famous Urucum Mine in Brazil, long before it later produced Kunzite as well. Morganite like this has not come from Brazil since the 1970s. This piece has exceptionally strong color, exceptional luster as well, and sharp faces on front and top. The left side is contacted/broken but this does not affect the display face viewing (although it does result in a very much lower price compared to the impact ration here!). No repairs or restoration, and from a very old collection of Brazilian gem crystals we purchased in Europe. It comes with a custom lucite base. 705 grams.
