A very large and elegant cabinet specimen of swirling intertwined silver wires up to 13.5 cm long from the primary thick wire near the base. Remarkable wire silvers like this from Uchucchacua were produced in the 1990s into early 2000s (this specimen has a dealer label noting it was mined in spring of 2001). These highly elongate crystals represent the wires twisting upwards in parallel growth and there are three such thick wires like this on this incredibly artistic piece. This is an outstanding example from these finds! Jack displayed this horizontally for maximum width (using a wad of earthquake putty to hold it down and balanced), but it could also show vertically.
