This crystal is like a pink jewel to hold in the hand, so surprising in overall quality on several metrics. A totally GEM transparent, jewel-like crystal of pink fluorite from this famous location, with top percentile luster to go with the top percentile gemminess/transparency. The color is a strong pastel pink, not too weak nor too heavy. The glassy surfaces and internally bright crystal combine to produce a crystal that looks, for all the world, like pink glass. The structure is complex, due to intergrowth and twinning, which can be seen on some faces. It is accented by blades of soft metallic mica around some edges and it is remarkably complete all around - and pristine. Contacted only on the bottom, this rare, complexly twinned crystal is actually an important example for size and region; and this special style is unique from pink fluorite from any other locality in the world. Shocking quality, 1 in 1000, compared to what we usually see. Fluorescent.
