Description
A spectacularly three-dimensional Vanadinite specimen with superb color and aesthetics from none other than the best place on the planet for the species...Morocco. This is an extremely colorful and well-composed cabinet piece with large, translucent red crystals that just glow! There are dozens of perfectly hexagonal, rich red to dark red, translucent to almost gemmy crystals that vary in size from 0.5 to nearly 2 cm in size, averaging around 1.5 cm! They are nicely aggregated with distinct crystal form very apparent. It is just an impressive cluster of equant, glassy crystals that display internal highlights and reflections of red and dark orange from the depths of the crystals. It is far beyond your average large Vanadinite crystal cluster. Only two very minor peripheral contacts in a couple of places. Gorgeous and vibrant! This specimen is from a well known pocket of 2016, remembered for robust crystals and strong color.
